SHIFTY

This is my take on the legendary Atari Punk Console, a ferocious stepped tone generator driven by a relentless 556 timer chip. 

I soldered a couple LEDs to the circuit and found a few great bends (pins 3, 11, and 12 on the 556 were especially fun) for touch controls and cv inputs. 

Packaged in a translucent-red enclosure, this APC can be wielded like a gaming controller, with knobs in place of thumbsticks.
